What We Offer

Your experiences begins with a warm, aromatic footbath during your intake, inviting your body to relax and soften as we assess what support you need. The copper bowl is grounding and purifying and the epsom salt base is infused with seasonally selected essential oils designed to restore balance from the very start. Our organic, food-grade massage oils shift with the seasons, ensuring your treatment is grounded in nature. To deepen the benefits, your practitioner then adds essential oils specifically chosen to support any current dosha imbalances.

Our Seasons

The season is central to our space and what we provide. Everything from our air diffusers, kitchen recipes, and massage oil evolves with the time of the year and the weather we are experiencing.

Kapha

Late winter and early spring is a sluggish time of year as we emerge from hibernation, and the cold thaws and melts away. To balance this, Kosa chooses lightening safflower oil for our massage oil base. We enliven our recipes with lemon and rosemary, and our space by diffusing brightening oils such as bergamot and neem.

Pitta

We balance summer’s heat with diffused and applied cooling essential oils of spearmint, rose, calendula, and mint. We switch to sunflower oil this time of year for our service’s base massage oil, and use lighter blankets on our massage tables. Our water infusion is a summer-y pink from steeping overnight with hibiscus and lime. Watch for summer offerings such as our Seasonal Body Scrub and Wrap treatment which is cooling, calming, soothing for the mind and body.

Vata

Once the heat of summer and early autumn has dissipated, the cold and dry Vata season begins. We turn up the massage table temperatures and use moisturizing sesame oil for services. Our kitchen and diffusers utilize warming cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg for our teas and house-made chivra snack. Ground yourself with our Vata Pacifying Ritual service, perfect for this time of year.
